The Flannels

The saga that became legend that recently changed to revival via tribute that is (and was, one could say) The FLANNELS begins in the middle 1980's in suburban Washington state, USA. Former child prodigy guitar near-genius Kameron "Flint" Marko had a chance meeting in a mom & pop sheet music store with two brothers named Grimm; Timm and Jimm, respectively. The brothers, taking an unauthorized break from working at their father's wood pulp extraction plant, were fighting over the tablature for Led Zeppelin's "Achilles' Last Stand", throwing themselves across the classical section and right into our boy Kam, & the die was cast. Quickly developing a "Grunge" style soon to be labeled the next big thing, the young men found a voice in one Stayn (no surname available) who wandered by their rehearsal area (OK, the shed out in the woods behind the pulp pile). The boys overheard Stayn wailing improvised free verse and were mesmerized by his ability to sound both hyper and brooding simultaneously, due to his extreme undiagnosed bipolar/ADHD/caffeine induced hypertension disorder. History was made. The 4 young men wrote dozens of songs together through the next 10 years , but sadly none of them satisfied as much as the Grunge mega hits of the day. It was then that Jimm (or is it Timm?) had an epiphany-" LETS JUST PLAY THEIR SONGS", he mumbled. "THEIR SONGS ARE BETTER." Out of the mouths of drummers... Once again, history was defined; The FLANNELS began performing their favorite Grunge material as faithfully as we all remember, with all the venti latte infused angst mixed with overcast intensity! The FLANNELS will carry on and deliver "grunge to the last drop" across this great land of ours, amazing audiences and bringing them back to the not so long ago time when the mood was heavy, the coffee was strong, and Grunge was king. Come and relive the moment with The FLANNELS

The Polyesters

THE POLYESTERS are the Southwest's Premiere Disco Party Band. This band was formed by 5 people that were children of 5 disco stars of the 70's. The bassist, Stone Fox, searched the internet, the newspaper and finally the bus depot to put together a smoking disco band. Rocco, Don, Polly, James and Stone have all seen the rise, the fall, the rise, the fall, the slight hump, the big fall and the inevitable current ressurgence of America's favorite party music...DISCO!!!!!!!!!!! Stone's father, Albert "Slappy" Fox, was the very driving force behind the thriving Milwaukee disco scene back in October of 1977 and Stone is bringing that same energy and passion to the Southwest with his band THE POLYESTERS. If you want a disco party like no other, THE POLYESTERS are your band!!!

It's too hot in Phoenix, we're planning on going back to Olympia Washington for the summer
